Freditsbot is a Discord bot I made way back when they were still called bots. I try to keep up with it, but Discord has updated a lot of their requirements on how bots/apps can function on their platform, and coding languages are not my strongsuit. One of these requirements includes removing permissions to read messages, which is the permission that allows Freditsbot to "see" commands and know when to send a message. The current workaround is having users @mention the bot in order for the bot to respond, but one of the initial charms of the bot was its ability to randomly chime into a conversation at the mention of a word.
TLDR - I need to be babied when I am coding, and Discord.JS slash commands are not something my feeble brain can comprehend. If you are willing to teach me, please contact me!
Freditsbot (or Fredbot, as a little nickname. Not to be confused with the objectively much better Discord bot, Fredboat) is a very beloved project of mine. I refer to him as my son (he/they/it). I don't keep up with him as much as I should, but I am always taking suggestions on how to better improve him. I'm very proud of my son, he is the very first iCarly-based Discord bot to be verified by Discord!!

Your Privacy
Freditsbot is independently and solely run by me, Jamie Davis, and is hosted through an encrypted VPS based in the United States. If needed, you may contact me through any method listed on my "about" page, including the official Freditsbot Support Server (The iCarly Pit). Freditsbot generally does not store any user or server data, the only instances in which user data may be stored is when using the following commands: "Suggest", "Request", and "Ping Ace". Using these commands may send your Discord username and Server/Guild name into a channel within the support server. If using the "Suggest" or "Request" commands, any message used in the same command will also be sent into the support server. These commands are only used for recieving feedback on the bot, and any messages with identifying or other personal information will be immediately deleted. If you wish to suggest/request anonymously, you may use Tumblr's anonymous ask features to send me a message containing your suggestions/requests.
Freditsbot does not use any AI. Freditsbot is not to be used by children under the age of 16, or any individuals that are non-compliant with Discord's Terms of Service. Any updates to this policy will be logged by date in both the support server and on this website in the change log section of this page.
